Melrose Park, Ill., December 2, 2019 - Navistar Defense, LLC (Navistar Defense) was awarded a competitively-based $24.5 million contract to provide medium tactical vehicles (MTV) to Foreign Military Sales customers worldwide, except for Iraq. The contract, awarded by the U.S. Army Contracting Command, is comprised of 6X6 general transport trucks (GTT) and 6X6 wreckers, along with spare parts and technical data for both variants. The vehicles under this three-year requirements contract will be produced at Navistar Defense’s West Point Assembly Plant in West Point, Miss., with deliveries starting in 180 days after receipt of each delivery order.

The company has been contracted to provide MTV variants to Iraq since September 2017.
